Alright, so three things about me - yea, four.
1. I am an ICU nurse who works nights.
2. I am in master's school to become a Family Nurse Practitioner
3. I am a terrible cook.
4. I like to procrastinate, and this blog is a product of that.
Also five, I have a tendency to start projects that I don't finish. You might have guessed that if you see the irregularity in which I post on my other two blogs. This is partially because I'm a bit of a perfectionist, and partially because I'm a blind optimist who says things, "Oh, I'll have time to do "..x.." when I finish nursing school. Oh wait, I could do MORE schooling? ...okay!"
I know I said four... five is kind of a freebie.
The purpose of this blog is the documentation of the slow but needed progress of myself as a cook and to simultaneously make all bad housewives out there feel better about themselves, while spurring me on to keep track of my simple recipes and make me try new things.
My blindly optomistic goal is to add a new recipe every two weeks, complete with pictures. Most are simple meals, but they might be helpful to other hard-working bachelors or bachelorettes out there who need a good idea on how to enter the unfamiliar territory of "making enough for leftovers" and "not eating out every time you are hungry".
Join me, or laugh at me depending, on my progress. With learning and friendships, perhaps good may come of this yet.
